My wish for 2026 is simple but essential: peace—for Cambodia, our neighbors, and the world. Peace begins with understanding, empathy, and the choices we make every day.
As every year comes to an end, I return to a small personal tradition—writing a New Year message on this blog. It is a moment to pause, reflect, and share a sincere wish for the year ahead.
Last year, I wrote Happy New Year 2025: Wishing Joy & Success . This year, my message is simpler, yet more meaningful.
For 2026, my wish is peace.

ឆ្នាំថ្មីនេះ ជាឱកាសមួយសម្រាប់យើងទាំងអស់គ្នា ក្នុងការឈប់សម្រាកចិត្ត និងគិតអំពីអ្វីដែលមានតម្លៃបំផុតក្នុងជីវិត។
សូមឲ្យឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ជាឆ្នាំនៃសន្តិភាព ការយោគយល់ និងការរួបរួមគ្នា សម្រាប់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា និងមនុស្សគ្រប់ទីកន្លែង។ សន្តិភាពមិនមែនកើតឡើងដោយចៃដន្យទេ ប៉ុន្តែចាប់ផ្តើមពីការគោរព ការយល់ចិត្ត និងការជ្រើសរើសរបស់យើងរាល់ថ្ងៃ។

For Cambodia, my hope is clear and heartfelt: peace, stability, and unity.
Recent events in our region remind us how precious peace truly is. They also remind us that ordinary people—families, workers, students—share the same hopes everywhere: safety, dignity, and a future they can believe in.
Cambodians are resilient and compassionate. My wish for 2026 is a year where calm voices are stronger than fear, and understanding is stronger than division.
🤝 Peace Beyond Borders
Peace does not stop at borders.
To our neighbors and friends across the region, including Thailand, my wish is for dialogue, respect, and cooperation. Beyond headlines and differences, people on all sides want to live peacefully and move forward together.
Lasting peace begins when we listen more, speak with empathy, and remember our shared humanity.
