For the whole year of 2022, it should be back-to-normal time for everyone in the world after few years of facing the pandemic. This year, in Cambodia we will celebrate Khmer New Year 2023 nationwide, which is going to be celebrated on Friday, April 14 to Sunday, 16 April 2023.

What we called the three Cambodian public holidays within the festival:
- មហាសង្រ្កាន្ត | Maha Songkran for the first day
- វារ:វ័នបត | Virak Wanabat for the second day, and
- វារៈឡើងស័ក | Virak Loeurng Sak for the final day.
